I had a busy busy, but fabulous weekend. My cousin Sarah, my bff Lauren, and my soon-to-be brother-in-law (is that a lot of hyphens or WHAT?!), Brent all came out and spent the weekend with me and Matt. Friday night, we had yummy burgers, cooked up by my love and Brent and just relaxed. It was much needed.
Saturday, Sarah and the boys were supposed to go sky-diving, but were unable to because of the thick clouds. They were more than disappointed, but we ended up making a girl's day out of it. We met up with Lisa and got manicures and pedicures and went to lunch. That night, we all went to Mi Cocina in Fort Worth... Always a good time!! We ended up with a nice party of 11. I was overjoyed to have so many of our loved ones together. :)
Yesterday, after Lauren headed back to Little Rock and Sarah took off for Houston, I cleaned while Matt and Brent did yardwork. Last night, we met Lisa and our photographer Vanessa and went to a vineyard in Grapevine to take our engagement pics. I only got a sneak peek, but I know they are going to be fabulous. Overall, another exhausting, but very wonderful weekend.
Wedding planning is going great... There is always something to do!!! I am trying not to be too stressed and to just let myself enjoy it. So far so good!
