House Hunt

So, last week or so, someone came and looked at my parents' house and decided that they want to make an offer. They have yet to do so, but it really got Matt and I thinking we should probably start looking elsewhere for a place to call home.

So, we have been looking nonstop, and MAN, is house-hunting a stressful event! Call me crazy, but I was honestly hoping we'd do a little online shopping, found the house of our dreams, call a realtor, go look at it, sign a contract, and wham bam thank you ma'am, we'd have our own perfect "white picket fence" sort of house! Yep, I was wrong.

Our problem in finding a house is that we have so many have-to-haves. Because Matt has his own business and takes a trailer everywhere, we need a house with lots of driveway room... No front entry garages. We need a neighborhood with no restrictions so that Matt can build a shop... No track neighborhoods. We're okay with a fixer-upper, in fact, we'd love a project like that, we just don't want to spend a lot of money on a house that needs work! Ugh.

While I do have faith that it'll all work out as it is supposed to, I am stressed nonetheless. Pray for my sanity please! And if you have any house suggestions, feel free to send them my way. :)
