Been a Minute

Well, it's been a while since I've posted and it's honestly because life has been so incredibly predictable (which I love by the way), so I haven't had much to talk about.

I'm sitting on the couch on a Sunday evening and my Spring Break has come to a quick end. I started off my break wiht absoluely no plans, so I was able to play things by ear and truly enjoy my time off. Tuesday, I spent all day with Lisa and the kids. It was much needed time with my favorite little Houchin family. Here are some precious pics of the kiddos playing in the back yard.

Wednesday, I went to Royse City to have lunch with my mother-in-law and her friend Sholana. Sholana has opened the cutest little shop downtown. The grand opening was Saturday, so after lunch, they put me to work! I really enjoyed getting to see the shop come together and I even made their first purchase. I bought a new bedside table! (Sorry, honey... I had to).
My parents came to town this weekend. I so enjoy getting to spend time with them. My grandparents and brother and his gf Cheryl came over for lunch yesterday. It was such a beautiful weekend to spend with my family. I loved every second of it, but I sure do hate when my parents have to go back to Odessa.

Welp, that's my recap of the week. I guess all good things must come to an end. Only 11 more school weeks until Summer. It could be worse! :)

BTW, I have two prayer requests....
1. My grandma had a bad mammogram, so her doctor did a biopsy-- It came back as cancer, but they believe it is in VERY early stages. She is going to see a breast doctor at Baylor (who I hear is an amazing woman). She is just waiting for the appointment to be made. Please keep her in your prayers as she finds out more about her diagnosis.

2. My dad has a job interview in FORT WORTH this week!!!! He is not incredibly confident because it would be a two-level jump from where he is now. Please pray that this will not affect his interview and that the interviewers will see how amazing my dad is. I just want my parents back in this area! Please Lord. :)
